The Parish Council has received notification of a planning application for Units 4-5 Home Farm, The Row, Welford RG20 8HR. The application is for change of use from B1 to D1 at units 4 and 5 Home Farm with associated parking. This application also requires Listed Building Consent. Full details of the applications can be found by searching application number 18/01824/FULD and 18/01825/LBC2 on the West Berkshire Council website.

The Parish Council has received a planning application for comment for Cedar House, Newbury Road, Wickham RG20 8HE. The proposal is for a single storey rear extension

Comments & Questions from Parishioners / Matters for Consideration Any Other Business The Parish Council has received a planning application for comment for Elton Farm, Weston, Newbury RG20 8JG. The proposal is for conversion of four agricultural buildings to residential use including parking, landscaping and associated works.
Full details can be found on the West Berkshire Council website under reference 18/01090/FULD. Following a site meeting and a public extra ordinary meeting held on the 20th June the Parish Council submitted the following response. No Objections on the proviso that the following matters are addressed: The Parish Council do not object to this application and agree that it is a sympathetic development, using existing footprints and preserving the farm building rather than letting them go in to disrepair. However, we insist the following matters are dealt with and agreed prior to full consent being granted: The Parish Council would not wish to see any effluent from any sewage system discharged into the River Lambourn and given the issues with the neighbouring development at Tee Kay Farm, we insist that a sewage solution is agreed in full before any commencement of work. We would like to be kept informed on the solutions the applicant is considering and be part of the consultation process on the final decision.
